Wow! It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged. For those of you who still check in often to see what I’ve been up to, I apologize. I promise that after Spring Break (which is next week) I’ll have some good posts full of fun photos… The boys and I are off to visit their cousins in NC next week and I’m going to do my best to have a cousin photo session while I’m there. :)
In the mean time, I wanted to report that I did successfully run in our neighborhood’s 5K that I wrote about back in January. I have to admit that I got a little lazy about my training, so I almost bailed on it, but the combination of peer pressure from all the crazy running Kindergarten moms (thanks Alison, Nicole, and Dee!) and the fact that it was absolutely gorgeous here convinced me to do it, and I’m so glad I did. After the big race, there was a fun-run for kids that the boys participated in. Big C was totally suckered into it by the free t-shirt he received for signing up! At the last minute Little C decided he wanted to run too because of the cool wristband that he would get to wear. In the end he didn’t want to run though. I didn’t take my camera so all I got were a few blurry iPhone shots. You can see a picture of Big C at the race in my 365 gallery if you click on the menu above. He ran full steam the entire race – I think we need to work on pacing!
