After a few rough weeks here in Virginia, the boys and I decided it was time for a change of scenery and a visit to their beloved cousins’ house in North Carolina. We had such a wonderful time hanging out with D’s sister and her family. It was a non-stop adventure as we hit up the museums, parks, gelato shops, more parks, rode everything we could find with wheels on it, and took in as much of the beautiful weather and time with the cousins as we could. We’ve got the perfect setup because the two oldest are only one month apart in age, while the two little guys are 6 months apart. They actually got along fantastically, but that credit has to go to my sister-in-law who kept everyone on their toes. :)
I’m not sure what she was doing when I took this shot, but she was standing behind me and sure must have been doing something silly!

We went to the Durham Life and Science Museum where the little guys got right to work digging for Fossils. Love G-man’s Elmo briefs – that’s the sign of a hard worker!

Everyone had to concentrate very hard to keep their lunches balanced on the bench.

But I love how intently they all stared when someone else was getting in trouble – they were totally giving that kid the stink-eye for being so naughty.

Big C and HC

They look like such big kids here. I can totally envision a very similar picture in ten years…

The little Men – Little C and G. Don’t you just love how suave my nephew looks, while my son sticks his fingers in his belly button!

My beautiful niece HC.

I know that my family is getting itchy because I haven’t updated my 365 images since we left last week, so hopefully these shots of the kids will tide you over for a while…
