I’m on a streak of photographing past clients and I love it so much! I first met the L family three years ago when their youngest Miss A was just sitting up on her own! Well she’s doing a lot more than sitting now and she and her big sister Miss L were absolute rock stars at this family session in Ashburn.
We were exploring a location that I stumbled upon (during a baseball practice) last fall when the leaves had already started to fall, and while it was gorgeous then, it is ten times more amazing now to see it in bloom. It felt like we were in an enchanted forest! We had the perfect mix of cool temperatures and overcast skies which gave me the freedom to shoot anywhere I wanted without worrying about squint-inducing light or raccoon-eye causing shadows.
It’s hard for me to decide which photo I love more. I love the family shot above with Miss A hanging upside down above, but I think I love the sisterly butterfly kisses even more!
L family – It was fantastic to see you again, and I loved seeing the spunky young ladies that your girls are blossoming into!
I have three remaining weekend dates available for family sessions this spring. Email me if you’d be interested in snagging one of them before they are gone!
