I don’t have a story to tell you about how I’ve always had a camera in my hand. In my past life I was an engineer. I liked art, but my main focus was always on the science. After my boys were born, I took a lot of pictures of them but they were never anything special. I honestly never had professional family photos taken because I only knew about the studio options and knew I didn’t like them.
Several years ago, we were living in Georgia and my friends there all were talking about their favorite photographer who took natural light outdoor photos. They had huge canvas prints of their children on their walls, and dozens of large framed pictures on their shelves. Their families – their children – were truly art. I mentioned to my husband that I wanted to learn how to take pictures like that, and now here I am!
I want to help you fill up your walls and move your family pictures from the scrapbook to the forefront. I want to help you showcase your most precious possessions. Your family. Your moments. Your memories. Your art.
